In memory of...

Happy 85th Belated Birthday to the one and only Audrey Hepburn, born May 4 1929.

More than an icon, she is to me one of the world's most beautiful being. Astoundingly inspiring, her movies are unforgettable classics. A humanitarian at heart and a true lady, she is a role model to the majority of women. In her wise words,

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others;
for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;
and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

Breezing at the Cliffs of Moher

This one week trip was everything and more that I had hoped for - stimulating, surprising, relaxing and invigorating. My travel soul mate and I were very, VERY lucky with the weather (otherwise - truth be told - it is not a worthwhile destination. Because with the slightest bad weather/mist/fog, one will not be able to witness the scenery most importantly/or do anything exciting really)(no wonder the locals spend their existence in pubs drinking!). We thanked the sun and clear blue sky every day, happy to have hit the jackpot (#hittingthesunpot)! Irish people were always friendly, helpful and jolly for the most. This experience to me was emotional more than anything. Maybe because of a mix of the wondrous sights every day, and the point in my life where I have come to accomplish many things in a short amount of time (new flat, new job…). All the same, I remind myself, and everyone, that sometimes in life all you need is:

Book a plane ticket,
secure a car and a good map,
and drive endlessly wherever the wind may take you.

SAG Awards (or more like Julia's dress)

Better late than never!*

Julia Roberts at the Screen Actors Guild Awards

'Chaaa arm ing'
Julia, I love you. In Pretty Woman, Stepmom, Erin Brockovich, even in Oceans Twelve, and especially in Eat, Pray, Love, you're such an incredibly charismatic and inspiring actress.
How can we not love you!

And yes you've aged beautifully, have a great natural figure for a mother of 46... ok, so what's my point? Remember my Golden Globes '14 post ? Well, I just thought I'd support my argument over her D&G dress - which not many people liked - in a 'see what I meeean' way, where to me personally, as dazzling as she is, her arms covered are simply more appealing.
Nooow you sort of agree and like her first look? Mmmh... =)
Can't wait to see what she'll wear at the Oscars...!

* (It always feels satisfyingly nice to use this sentence in such cases... right? Like 'Meh...', but heeey, better laaate than neevaaa... *wink*)
